World on Yonge is a unique condo community. It is a development where one can live, work, play …. and shop.
World on Yonge is one of the GTA’s largest mixed use communities. It includes five towers. Three residential towers house over 1,200 residential condo suites. The remaining towers include the 117 suite Liberty Suites Hotel and office space. There is also a three level interior shopping mall plus street-front retail.
World on Yonge is designed as a walkable and livable community. It also strives to be environmentally friendly. There are two acres of parkland. The three-level retail mall is covered by a green roof that helps reduce heat accumulation from the complex. The green roof collects rain water for reuse in public toilets, grass and plants.
Hullmark Centre, a mixed-use community in the Yonge North Corridor that is nearly complete, also includes retail and office space. Gibson Square, to be completed in 2015, is another Yonge North Corridor condominium complex combining residential with retail, office and/or restaurant space.
