If there was any doubt about the popularity of high-rise condominium living, June 2017 home sales data should put an end to speculation. Nearly all June new home sales in Toronto were in high-rise condominiums.
Altus Group reports that 91 percent of all new home sales in Toronto were high-rise condominiums.
The number of high-rise condominium sales increased 89 percent from June 2016. During this same period, low-rise home sales decrease by 72 percent.
