Per government directive traditional Annual General Meetings, and other owner meetings, are postponed until directed otherwise. By traditional we refer to the calling of a meeting where attendees congregate in a room to conduct business including voting.
To ensure the business of condominium management continues, board, committee and other meetings can be conducted by phone, skype or other electronic means.
Electronic meetings and electronic voting allow meetings of all types to continue. Technology for these purposes have been in use for many years. Electronic meeting technology allows owners to participate in meetings from any location using their computer, laptop or notepad. Attendees can listen to or participate in proceedings including asking questions and receiving answers. Quorum can be verified. Electronic voting fulfills the same role as paper ballots.
