New purpose-built high-rise rentals are taking luxury to another level.
A high-rise luxury rental building at Lonsdale and Avenue Road, nearing completion, will be 20 stories high and include previously unheard-of amenities.
2Fifteen will include high-end finishes expected to appeal to those who want to live in luxury and security without the cost, commitment and responsibilities of owning a home. Renters for these properties are expected to be high-earning young professionals – new to the city or not in a position to purchase; retirees and individuals looking to downsize after selling their home and relying on the proceeds for retirement.
2Fifiteen will be located in a quiet, tree-lined neighbourhood of Forest Hill, professionally managed, with rent ranging from $3,200 for a one-bedroom unit to $12,000 or more for a penthouse suite. All services and maintenance will be included. Suites will have open-concept layouts, wide plank hardwood flooring, high-end appliances, large kitchen island and a large balcony.
The lobby will include a lounge, fireplace and 20-foot ceiling. Staff will be available to assist with groceries, food deliveries or making reservations. The party room will come with a chef’s kitchen and dining space. The games room includes a theatre, walkout terrace and outdoor dining area. An exercise area incorporates a fully equipped gym, Peloton bikes and spa facilities. The 17th-floor rooftop terrace offers residents unobstructed southwest views of the skyline plus lounge seating and fire pit.
Community activities include cooking classes, wine tasting, fitness and yoga classes.
Tenants will have access to a phone app for booking amenities, requesting maintenance and other communications.
