Every year the Competition Bureau receives an average of 20,000 requests and complaints. These include complaints regarding mass marketing fraud; fraud by mail, telephone and Internet.

The Competition Bureau website helps Canadians recognize fraud. Their site describes the more common fraud scams and identifies who to contact if you are a victim of a fraud.
