Now a Toronto company offers a more extensive, reliable and less costly alternative.
FTD Highrise Inspection has introduced SAM; a robotic inspector that can crawl along the side of a building. SAM rides along cables positioned next to the building and
records everything it sees. Engineers can view this footage at a later date.
When compared to a visual inspection SAM is faster, can inspect an entire building, retains a record for future review and is less costly.
