When it comes to shopping, Yonge North Corridor is near all the action.
The Yonge North Corridor is within ten minutes of Yorkdale Shopping Mall which has more than 250 mostly high end stores, Fairview Mall with 175 stores and Centrepoint Mall with over 100 stores and restaurants. A little further out is Promenade Mall and Hillcrest Mall.
A short subway ride away is Eaton Centre with its more than 230 stores, restaurants and services.
Bloor-Yorkville, also on the subway line, is internationally recognized as one of the top ten shopping destinations. The area includes five shopping centres – Hazelton Lanes, Holt Renfrew Centre, Manulife Centre, Hudson’s Bay Centre and Cumberland Terrace. This is Toronto’s high end shopping district comparable to other highly rated shopping destinations such as Fifth Avenue in New York, Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, and Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.
