Underground parking and storage areas can fall prey to thieves gaining access to a condo building.
Thieves may follow residents through doors or gates pretending to live in the building. They may claim to be contractors or have relatives in the building.
- Do not allow individuals or vehicles to follow you in the building. When this occurs, immediately inform security or the management office.
- Never allow an unknown individual entry to the building through the intercom system.
- Do not allow contractors or service people you do not personally recognize into the building. Inform security in advance of their arrival.
- Report suspicious activity or people to building security. This includes anyone following you in the building or hanging out near a building entrance.
