A market will be included inside a new development approved for 5200 Yonge Street.
This will be a City owned and privately operated year round market. It is expected to include a local butcher, cheese shop, baker, fruit and vegetables, and other specialty shops.
There are preliminary plans to create a similar
development north of this space. The two market areas will be separated by a city owned gathering space.
This market has not yet been named.
