MyExposome, a US start-up company, wants you to know what chemicals you are exposed to each day.
Their wristband can identify hundreds of toxic chemicals in your local environment.
Their product is based on technology developed at the University of Oregon; a wristband that tests exposure to chemicals in the environment and measures over 1,400 chemicals. Many of these chemicals are found in personal care products, fragrances, pesticides and combustion by-products such as gasoline and tobacco.
For condo dwellers concerned about the environment in their suite or common areas, MyExposome could be a reliable and economical way to identify chemicals that pose a danger in a condo building.
The company is currently raising money through Kickstarter to bring this product to market.
