UrbanToronto took stock of how much development was in process early in 2017.
As of March 2017, there were an astounding 840 projects in development throughout the city.
- 27 hotels either in development or expanding
- 63 primarily residential buildings in development – many of which include retail space
- 48 office buildings
- 102 residential developments
- 200 mid-rise buildings
